dabl Cardiovascular System adopted in Florence, Italy
dabl Ltd, the Irish healthcare management company, has announced that the University Hospital of Florence in Italy has adopted the dabl CardiovascularDisease Management System. The dabl system, which was translated and localised for the Italian market enables the University Hospital of Florence to standardise its treatment and management of cardiovascular patients throughout the region in both its specialist unit and its primary care.
The system enables medical teams to achieve a very high standard of patient management and care for their cardiovascular patients. It will also enable the Cardiovascular Unit in Florence to extend the system to all general practitioners in the Tuscany region over a secure internet connection. The dabl system was chosen mainly for its ease of use and its interpreted reports using evidence based protocols.
Commenting on the announcement, Mr. Bill Rickard , Managing Director, dabl Ltd said: "We are delighted that the University Hospital of Florence is incorporating the dabl system into its cardiovascular care model. It is only through an integrated and unified approach that we can make progress in the ongoing fight against cardiovascular disease. The dabl system ensures that patients who come to University Hospital Florence with cardiovascular disease will receive a consistent level of treatment and assessment at the primary care level. The growth in demand for the benefits that the dabl system bring to the health service should deliver significant efficiencies in health services throughout the world as the quality of information is shared between primary and secondary care.
